If you are
running a car dealership with a service department, I am sure that you are
aware of the potential customers sitting in your waiting room. A while back we
implemented a system which we called ‘SERVICE CONVERSION’, This entailed one of
the service writers letting the Sales Manager know about service customers who
had just spent money on a repair and were told that they would need other
repairs soon.
Someone,
maybe a manager, maybe a salesperson, would contact that customer and offer a
discount on a pre-owned vehicle. The discount would be equal to the money they
had just spent on the repair, up to a certain dollar amount. This was a win-win
situation. The customer sees a way out of future repair bills on their vehicle
as well as getting at least some of their money back on their recent service
visit. The dealership sells a pre-owned vehicle.
The only
drawback was the fact that the customer had now left the dealership and we all
know what that means.
LightshowMedia’s VEHICLE SHOWCASE is aimed at keeping the customer in the dealership.
Imagine
having your top ten, fifteen, or even twenty pre-owned vehicles displayed in
High Definition on a 26” to 32” lcd tv right there in your waiting room! Eight
Hi Definition pictures of each vehicle displayed full screen along with details
of the vehicle and a slide that offers to have the vehicle ‘brought around’ for
closer inspection.
We will take all the pictures, put them on a full motion, high resolution DVD and then cycle through. Vehicles can be added or changed on a weekly, bi-weekly or monthly schedule. The only stipulation is a four vehicle minimum on each callout. We will deliver and start the new DVD after each callout. You will also receive a CD with your high resolution pictures to use in other advertising media.
The showcase
will feature your company logo as well as Certified logo for your brand on
Certified vehicles.
Each
dealership will be responsible for supplying the TV, DVD player and cables. We
will recommend a TV based on the size and layout of your waiting room. It is
highly recommended that you use a widescreen, high def. LCD TV. This will
complement the pictures we supply. An upconverting DVD player is also highly
recommended along with an HDMI cable. In most cases all equipment can be
purchased for under $600. All DVD and CD media becomes the property of the
dealership.
Contracts
are month to month, no long term commitment!
